M.O.G Beatz resolves copyright dispute with Shatta Wale

Ghanaian music producer M.O.G Beatz has officially announced the conclusion of his long-running copyright infringement matter involving dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale.

In a press release dated 11th December 2025, the producer described the settlement as a major step toward fairness and respect within the creative space.

“It is with great pleasure that I officially announce that the Copyright Infringement issue involving myself and Charles Nii Armah Mensah has been fully resolved as of today, 11th December 2025,” M.O.G Beatz stated.

According to him, the resolution represents more than a legal closure; it marks renewed commitment to protecting creative rights in Ghana’s music industry.

“This milestone reflects a collective commitment to safeguarding creative work, promoting mutual respect, and ensuring fairness within our music industry,” he said.

He extended deep appreciation to the professionals who stood by him throughout the process. “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to my legal team, whose professionalism and dedication were instrumental throughout this process,” he noted.

M.O.G also acknowledged individuals whose personal support helped him stay grounded during the dispute. “My sincere gratitude also goes to Mr. Seidu and Mr. Kojo Spio for their unwavering support, guidance, and steadfast belief in justice,” he added.

The producer concluded by thanking fans, colleagues, and everyone who encouraged him to stand firm for his artistic rights.
