Mahama is the answer to Ghana’s current challenges- Shatta Wale
Self-acclaimed Ghanaian Dancehall King Shatta Wale, Born Charles Armah Mensah has called on Ghanaians to support former President John Dramani Mahama, emphasizing the need for stable leadership amid the country’s current challenges.
In a video that has gone viral, Shatta Wale voiced his concerns regarding the political climate and how misinformation and propaganda had previously hindered Mahama’s chances of reelection.
The musician stated that the turmoil affecting various sectors of Ghana necessitates Mahama’s return to the presidency.
He noted, “With the current situation, we need someone like Mahama who understands the plight of the people.” Shatta Wale’s remarks indicate a clear belief that Mahama’s leadership would help restore stability and growth in the nation.
He further expressed indifference about how his comments might be interpreted, whether as political endorsements or mere opinions.
His focus, he explained, is on the welfare of the country and its people. Highlighting Mahama’s previous contributions, Shatta Wale praised both Mahama and his brother, Ibrahim, for their genuine concern for the nation’s progress, particularly their support for the creative arts sector during Mahama’s tenure.
Shatta Wale’s endorsement of Mahama aligns with the sentiments of many who believe that experienced leadership is crucial at this time.
