Mohbad’s wife reveals how singer injured himself before his passing

The wife of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, Wunmi, has shed new light on an injury he sustained before his untimely death.

Speaking on TVC’s Your View, she revealed that Mohbad accidentally hurt himself while attempting to punch his friend, Prime Boy, during a confrontation.

“My husband sustained an injury at the show when he wanted to punch Prime Boy, but he mistakenly hit the Prado glass instead,”** Wunmi explained.

She further disclosed that Mohbad’s fear of hospitals—stemming from his past ordeal with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)—prevented him from seeking medical attention.

“He refused to go to the hospital because he had a phobia for it due to the NDLEA saga.

“That was why we had to call a nurse to treat him at home when his hand started swelling. His own personal nurse was not around,”she added.

Mohbad’s altercation with Prime Boy had initially fueled speculations after the singer’s passing, with many alleging supernatural involvement.

However, Wunmi’s revelation now provides clarity on the incident, dismissing any suspicions surrounding Prime Boy’s role in Mohbad’s tragic demise.
