Most Ghanaians are not open-minded so I'm careful about my lyrics

Rapper and performer, Armstrong Affum popularly known as Opanka has stated that Ghanaians are not open-minded so he’s careful when talking about social issues in his songs.

“One thing about Ghanaians is that we are not open-minded so if you talk about some societal issues then you’ll be linked to a particular political party,” he remarked.

Talking to Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, the ‘microphone abuser’ said anything you talk about these days can easily be linked to being affiliated with a particular political party.

He continued “If you say something that favour some people then they conclude that you belong to party A or party B.

“So there are certain things that when you want to say and you are not careful about it your name will be tarnished,” he added.

Dadie Opanka as affectionately called recently disclosed that he is not switching from secular music to recording strictly inspirational songs mainly because of his near-death experience.
