Movie industry and acting second most disciplined industry
Movie Director and Producer Eddie Nartey has stated that movie acting is the second most disciplined career one can venture into.
He believes that after the Military where strict systems are in place, the movie industry is another place where indiscipline is never countenanced.
The award-winning actor was speaking to some budding actors and actresses when he made this known to them reminding them of the need to be disciplined.
“This work if you take the Military it’s the second most disciplined job, take the Military out. This work we work with the weather, who will wait for you if it will rain at 5 and we’ve gone to rent equipment, even here we said we will close at 6 but we haven’t closed…”
The actor speaking on the need to develop one’s craft rather than focusing on giving sex for roles said “don’t even go and say that is what I will use, let them do it, no, your craft is what is going to take you wherever you go.
Work on that because that is where you’ll see that you can be flying, I’ve answered your question so if you want to go and sleep with somebody bye bye”.
Over the years, movie producers have been accused of sleeping with actresses before roles are handed to them.
This was corroborated when a leading movie producer ola Michael said that young actresses who are desperate for roles will always be taken advantage of by producers.
