Multiple nominations for awards made 2022 excellent in my music career


‘Christ’ hitmaker and Highlife singer, Roy X Taylor born Deroy Ekow Taylor has disclosed that this year under review has been a classic period in his music career so far.
The Saltpond-based songwriter and performer recently got various nominations in the 2022 3Music Awards, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and Ghana Music Awards – France.
Speaking on the Kastle Entertainment Show with Amansan Krakye, the son of Highlife legend, Ebo Taylor revealed that 2022 has been an excellent year for him and his music crew.
“This year under review is a classical period in my music career because I was expecting these exposures way back,” he said on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
“I think I was expecting it too early and it happened in a victorious way such that every success was after success,” he continued.
“So I will rate this year under review to be an excellent year for me and my crew,” he told the host during an interview.
