My life is in danger

Popular social media activist VeryDarkMan has disclosed that security operatives warned him of a serious threat to his life shortly after he arrived in Nigeria. Speaking during a livestream session, he said his passport was confiscated upon landing.

“Security operative came… they seized my passport,” he recounted. “I said, why are you seizing my passport? They said nothing.”

According to him, officials later informed him that intercepted communications showed plans to attack him. “They told me your life is in danger… they are going to send assassins to come for you,” he claimed.

He said the officials offered various options for state protection. “They said which do you want, police, Army, DSS? Who do you want to protect you this period?” he narrated. “I said nobody. I said I will never use the security.”

VeryDarkMan added that he requested the immediate return of his passport after declining protection. “Give me my passport… I’m going,” he said, noting that officers were surprised by his decision.
