My wife doesn’t chase attention online
Ned Nwoko has publicly defended his Moroccan wife, Laila, describing her as a woman of “quiet strength” amid increasing online speculation.
In a statement shared on social media, the politician said he felt compelled to speak because “in a world where noise travels faster than truth,” his wife’s personality was being misrepresented.
“My wife, Laila. She is a woman whose quiet strength continues to amaze me every single day,” he wrote.
According to him, Laila avoids drama and has never been interested in the attention that comes with social media.
“She has never been the type to chase attention or respond to every passing opinion. She prefers a peaceful and private life,” he added.
Nwoko described her as mature, patient and caring, stating that she “gives without expecting anything in return” and maintains calmness even in difficult moments.
The businessman said harsh online comments about her do not reflect who she is. “I know her heart. I know the honesty she carries,” he emphasised.
He reiterated his support, stating: “As her husband, I will always stand by her. I will speak for her when needed, and I will protect her name with pride.”
Nwoko expressed gratitude to those who have shown kindness toward his wife and ended his message by reaffirming his commitment; “You are valued, you are loved… and I will always stand with you, today and every day.”
