Myself and Kuami Eugene will end Nigerian songs dominance on GH airwaves
In a time where Nigerian music is flooding the Ghanaian airwaves, rapper Kweku Flick has pledged to join forces with singer, Kuami Eugene to salvage the situation.
It is heartbreaking as statistics show that Ghanaians are listening to more foreign tunes than songs produced by local musicians but Kweku Flick has decided to end this phenomenon.
Speaking on the Kastle Entertainment Show with Amansan Krakye, the ‘Money’ hitmaker said he’s been discussing with friends why Nigerian songs are dominating.
He said “This issue is exactly what we were discussing and you’ve brought it up. You asked exactly what we were sitting here talking about.
Agreeing with Kuame Eugene’s Tweet weeks ago of producing songs to sweep the Nigerian songs off Ghana’s airwaves, Kweku Flick said that’s the way to go for Ghanaian artistes.
“I think that Kuami Eugene said some few days ago that he will clear all the Nigerian songs from the Ghanaian airwaves so that only our songs will be played.”
“I fully support him because I’m also a Ghanaian and I think that the Nigerian songs are dominating too much so we’ll give you from now to December all the Nigerian songs will vanish.”
