MzVee on her viral video and working with a top male artist

MzVee has opened up about her collaborations, her latest album, and a viral video that sparked reactions from fans.
Speaking on EBN, monitored by MyNewsGh, the Come and See My Moda hitmaker revealed that her upcoming album, Invincible, features seven collaborations with artists from across the continent.
“I can’t count how many features I have, but on my new album, I have about six or seven collaborations,” she disclosed. “I have Kojey Radical from the UK, Falz from Nigeria, Navy Kenzo from Tanzania, Efya, Medikal, and Kelvyn Boy on the album.”
MzVee also addressed a viral video featuring her and a well-known male artist, which got fans talking. The video, which was given a humorous voice-over by SK Skinny, sparked curiosity about their chemistry.
“I laughed the whole time when I saw it, and then I posted it. Everybody laughed as well. It was amazing,” she said.
She recalled a conversation with the male artist while shooting the music video, where he pointed out their similar branding.
“He said, ‘Vee, you know we have the same brand image. We basically don’t do anything like that in our videos.’ And I said, ‘Yes, I’ve seen your videos as well.’”
MzVee assured fans that, despite the Sassy nature of the video, it was all part of the storytelling.
The singer also hinted at hosting her own concert, expressing hope that COVID-19 restrictions would ease so she could connect with fans on a grand stage.
“Hopefully, this year we can have a concert. We are praying to God that things change so we can make it happen,” she said.
MzVee continues to make an impact in the industry, evolving her sound while maintaining her signature style.
