Na me be their father and mother — Peller shares why he’s tired of his family
Popular streamer Peller has sparked emotion and conversation after opening up about the emotional toll of being his family’s main provider.
During a candid live session with fellow content creator Sandra Benede, Peller shared the personal weight he carries and why he has grown distant from his family.
“I no like to the see my family again. I dey send them things to make sure say them dey okay, because my mentality now don pass to dey stay with my parents,” he said, expressing a deep sense of mental and emotional exhaustion.
The internet personality admitted that although he still supports his family financially, he feels emotionally disconnected and no longer relates to their way of thinking.
“My thinking now don pass their own thinking, e come be like say na me be their father and mother. I no dey rest,” Peller added, highlighting the reversal of roles in his household and the pressure that comes with it.
He went on to admit that he has considered leaving the country entirely just to find peace.
“If no be say them go dey find person, I for don run go America go find some place go dey stay inside,” he confessed.
Peller’s honesty touched a nerve with many fans online, especially those who share similar experiences as the backbone of their families.
“I don’t like to see my family again, I just send them things because my mentally is higher than living with my parents, even though I have an elder brother, it feels like i’m their parents”
