Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, a traditional leader and Highlife musician, has said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) always leaves a legacy and trademark whenever they are voted into power.

In an interview on Property FM in Cape Coast he said “Whenever NPP comes into government they try to leave behind a trademark or legacy which most of us can mention, unlike the governance of the NDC.

When President Kufour came he left behind a lot of trademarks like the National Health Insurance but under President Mills, he did his best but there’s no trademark to show for his tenure”.

According to the ‘Bawumia Toaso’ crooner, there is nothing to show whenever the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is allowed to govern the country.

“There is nothing to show under the presidency of Mahama which has become a legacy or trademark but even despite the criticisms at Akufo-Addo he’s been able to do Free SHS which is a trademark,” he stated

“And so if we consider these two political parties the one who always leaves behind a trademark or legacy is the one that we ought to allow to continue governing this country to do more for us,” he justified.
