New crop of musicians are lucky to have social media to promote songs
Emmanuel Kwamina Amonoo also known by the stage name Quamina MP, a Ghanaian musician, has spoken about the impact of social media on the current crop of musicians.
According to the musician who also doubles as a record producer, the new generation of musicians are lucky to have social media platforms to help in the promotion of their songs.
“I feel that in the time of Obrafour there was nothing like social media so social media has come and we are too lucky to have social media to promote our songs and all of that,” he told Amansan Krakye sighted by MyNewsGh.com
Talking about the impact of TikTok and other social media platforms being used to promote music, the ‘Attraction’ hitmaker said he’ll gladly embrace any innovative technology as far he’s in the creative industry.
He added on Kastle FM in Cape Coast “Whatever comes in the world of social media I will gladly welcome it for us to hold onto it and work with it a little bit but I do hear sometimes that people complain.
“People are talking about it but I just feel like whatever you do you don’t need to give yourself excuses but need to what you can so you achieve what you want,” he concluded on the Kastle Entertainment Show.
