Next two months, I’ll buy another Lamborghini — Shatta Wale dares EOCO
Dancehall king Shatta Wale has vowed to bounce back stronger after his yellow 2019 Lamborghini Urus was seized by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO) following his recent performance at the Homowo Festival.
“I no dey fear anybody for Ghana. Everybody ein moda. I do music and I dey do am the hard way. Ghana artistes dey don’t want make we show what we want.
“Me, Shatta Wale, if they try me, next two months, ago buy another Lamborghini,” the musician declared, signaling that he plans to purchase another luxury car despite the setback.
The comments come just days after Shatta Wale reassured his fans of his safety following his release from EOCO custody. In a heartfelt video message, he thanked supporters, his management team, and the authorities for their role in the process.
“Shatta is safe, you know, your king is safe. One Don is safe, and I’m home now. I just want to say a big thank you for supporting and for being around me in times like this, because I needed you guys the most, you are the ones that hold me down,” he said.
He singled out Neo Original, whom he described as a father figure, as well as the EOCO staff for their professionalism.
“To all the staff of EOCO, you guys have been wonderful. At least I came there, you guys really took me through that rightful process that was needed, and I just want to say God bless you,” Shatta Wale added, mentioning Mr. Raymond Hacha for his support.
