Nigerian actress Lizzy Gold announces death of father in an emotional post
Nollywood actress, producer, and entrepreneur Lizzy Gold has announced the death of her father, sharing a deeply emotional tribute on social media.
“What I fear most has happened to me… death has given me a huge blow…. my father is gone ….. he left us yesterday … this wasn’t the plan daddy… you were suppose to cross over with your children into the new year…. my heart is shattered … my jist partner is gone .. so I won’t see you again? 😢😢😢 oh God 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 will I ever survive this? Will I survive this pain ???”
The post reflects Lizzy Gold’s heartbreak as she mourns the loss of her father, whom she described as her “jist partner,” highlighting the profound bond they shared.
Lizzy Gold Onuwaje, born October 16, 1989, in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, is a prominent figure in Nollywood.
She began her entertainment journey after winning Miss Delta State in 2006, studied Information Science at Delta State University, and trained at Royal Arts Academy.
Lizzy entered Nollywood around 2012 and has earned recognition for her roles in family-themed films, producing works such as Just A Night.
In addition to her acting career, Lizzy Gold balances motherhood as a single mother of two and manages multiple fashion and beauty businesses, inspiring young women across Nigeria.
