Nigerian singer Fave picks Ghanaian men as the most attractive in Africa
Nigerian singer Fave has sparked a lighthearted debate about African men after showering praise on Ghanaian men, describing them as uniquely built and godlike.
During an interview on the Okay Africa podcast, Fave was asked to name the most attractive men on the continent.
While she admitted that she couldn’t give a definitive answer without traveling across all African countries, she didn’t hesitate to single out Ghanaian men.
“I’m not equipped to answer until I travel to all the African countries and see all the men,” she said. “But for now, I honestly have to say, Ghanaian men. There’s something about Ghanaian men… they’re built differently, they look like gods.”
Fave, whose real name is GodsFavour Chidozie, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter known for her soulful voice and emotive Afrobeats and R&B-inspired music.
She gained mainstream attention in 2021 with her hit single “Baby Riddim”, which became a viral sensation across Nigeria and beyond.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Fave first caught the public’s eye by sharing freestyle videos on social media. Her talent was undeniable, and she quickly built a strong fan base.
She later gained more recognition when she was featured on two tracks, “Obsessed” and “PonPon”, from Olamide’s album UY Scuti.
Fave’s music is often praised for its smooth melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and unique sound that blends Afrobeats, R&B, and alternative influences. Since her breakout, she has continued to release music and establish herself as one of Nigeria’s rising female stars.
