Nigerians have not taken it lightly on actress and wife of Billionaire Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels for flaunting her luxurious lifestyle on social media amidst police brutality campaigns in the country.
The actress has throughout the week flaunted the expensive gifts received from her husband on her twentieth birthday including a 24million naira Rolex watch and a luxury, four-wheel plane as she calls it.
Even when reports made round across the world that many lives had been lost and others injured at Leki after the military opened fire on unarmed protesters, the actress was flaunting pictures of her night out to celebrate her big day with the caption,
“I say I’m counting my money….I can’t hear you #endsars #endpolicebrutality Skin: @blemivivskincare”
However, a post from her on early Wednesday morning got her countrymen and women angry, and have taken to her page to express their disappointment about her behavior while her people are dying.
The post had the actress sharing two photos of herself and asked her fans to choose the one they prefer.
In response to the question asked by the actress, Nigerians have described her as wicked, careless, inhuman, insensitive, etc.
Here are some comments
Odey Mary Nifemi wrote that “Either Regina or not, all I no is that the owner of this account is a wicked human being, he/she is a beast and have no conscience”.
“Either Regina or imposter… Do have a human conscience… It’s not right everyone is in the bad mood and you are here posting unnecessary things… If you don’t have anything to post… Don’t post at all… Even children are affected by what is happening…,” another with the name Victoria Husseini wrote.
Ebai Oben also stated that “Nonsense post only for those Jack’s and gills who go about getting married to old dudes because of so called “money” take your artificial beauty and unscrupulous old and naggi mind set to hell”
Excel Hammer added that “Yesterday I told her to use money she was counting to buy sense, her fans started yelling I ran. Imagine what she is posting when lives are being wasted. When youths are out there clamouring for a better tomorrow”.
Joycy Ubi said “Wait o If Regina is the one behind this page, my darling you are so insensitive at such a time as this. If someone is in charge, you are just like Buhari…”.
Pinky Dennis wrote “What the heck is this… people Life is been wasted & u ar here posting pictures because you are not lacking & u didn’t care….. please go on & ask your grandpa to choose your pictures moreover we are not your husband neither your husband family….…we have nothing to do with your beauty perhaps we have nothing to gain from your pictures… there’s time for everything… time to laugh and time to cry”.
“Your fellow celebrities are protesting against SARS and killing of the innocent protesters.,,,all you do is to post edited pictures telling urself to click for help. Do I tell you that I need help If you want to help as you claimed then go to hospital and visit those injured protesters or bring back those that died #Useless_post #endsars”, Love Chukwuma said.
One Amara Chris also wrote that “We understand the fact that your husband is a politician hence you wouldn’t see any need to post the pictures that matters at the moment with all due respect please stop constituting nuisance here”.
On his part, Egbo Precious Chinecherem wrote that “I don’t think she is truly the one handling this account, if she is truly the one, know it that the blood of that old man has started frustrating her,ur country is in trouble ok”
