Nigerians’ warm reception shows my music has really gotten far
Legacy Life Entertainment signee, King Promise blew the minds of fans and other guests at a recent Trace Live event in Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Abena hitmaker, who was hosted by Trace, performed an exclusive special rendition of his then-unreleased song, ‘Ginger’, for the first time, as he also dazzled with other songs off his ‘As Promised’ album.
Talking about the reception in Nigeria, he said “The reception I got in Nigeria recently was very great and the credit goes to God because before this event I have not done any show in Nigeria before.
“It was my first time but everyone came out to participate and the venue was full to capacity and the songs too was sung by most of the people whilst dancing to them,” he revealed on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM.
“Even by the time I went to Nigeria to perform I had not released my song ginger but when I performed it they were jamming to it so it got me really excited,” he told Amansan Krakye in an interview.
“I felt that we are doing something right in the work I’m doing and it has really gotten far because those who don’t even understand the language are in love with my songs,” he ended.
