People don’t understand – Peller explains why he spent more on girlfriend than mother
Social media has been buzzing over Peller’s decision to gift his girlfriend a luxury AMG car while his mother received a different, less expensive vehicle. The content creator addressed the criticism directly.
“Let me tell you guys something, let me lecture you. If you want to say that you are rich, it’s not by your body. It’s not by what you buy for yourself. It’s not even by what you buy for your mummy,” Peller said.
He explained that gifts for a partner carry a different meaning than gifts for family. “If you buy it for your mummy, they will say it’s out of… she doesn’t take care of you from small. That one, I don’t mind. But if you buy a car for your girlfriend, that is how we know if the guy is rich,” he added.
Peller also shared frustrations about public perception, noting that his mother even complained about the car he bought her.
“I buy my mummy 9 million in that Toyota. She still complains. Everybody won’t die if I buy my baby an AMG,” he said.
He further clarified that his choice wasn’t about keeping his partner close, but about recognizing her contributions to his life.
“I didn’t buy the car because I wanted her to stay with me. Bro, I gave her. She deserved it. All the things you have done with me for my life, all these days. Now, I give her,” Peller explained.
“Being rich is not by what you buy for yourself, buying your girlfriend a car is the best way to show people that you’re rich. My mum wanted a 9million Toyota because of maintenance but I bought her a 20million Hyundai instead. If I had bought her exactly what she requested for… pic.twitter.com/fsp3YBpTda
