Perpetual Didier clears the air on rumored affair with Producer Dave Joy
Gospel musician Perpetual Didier has put to rest swirling rumors about her relationship with renowned music producer and manager, Dave Joy.
The speculation has grown louder in recent months, with some alleging an intimate connection between the two, particularly since Dave Joy was managing Didier’s career while being married to fellow gospel singer, Joyce Blessing.
During a candid interview with ace media personality Fiifi Praat, Didier was directly confronted with these rumors.
Unflinchingly, she debunked the claims, stating that her relationship with Dave Joy has never crossed the line into romance.
“There was no intimacy with Dave, even though he was my manager. Our relationship was strictly professional,” she emphasized.
Perpetual Didier further stressed the decorum that characterized their working relationship, dismissing any notion of romantic involvement.
“What we have is purely professional. He is my brother, not my romantic partner,” she firmly stated.
The interview, which was monitored by MyNewsGh, gave Didier the platform to clear the air and reaffirm her dedication to her career, her professional relationships, and her personal integrity.
On the same show, she expressed her disappointment with fellow industry members who failed to attend her brother Shadrach’s funeral.
Perpetual revealed that aside from Dave Joy, no other gospel musician came to support her during the final rites for her brother, who tragically died from alleged police brutality at West Hills Mall on January 30, just days before his scheduled departure to Germany.
