Regina’s friends and sister introduced her to drugs — Dr. Kemi Olunloyo
Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has shared insights into ongoing tensions in the marriage of actress Regina Daniels and Prince Ned Nwoko.
Olunloyo said, “This is very unfortunate. I’m extremely sad tonight. I reached out to Ned immediately to get the truth because social media stories were all over the place.”
She recounted Ned’s response: “I’ve done my best for Regina. I spend a lot of money on her, but she’s now spending all that money on drugs, which her friends introduced her to.”
Ned reportedly confirmed that he had not assaulted Regina, saying, “I was not in the house yesterday.
The story that I beat her is false.” He further discussed Regina’s struggles: “She’s been using drugs for the past eight months, going in and out of rehab. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.”
Olunloyo highlighted that Regina’s social circle contributed to her substance issues. She quoted Ned: “I allow her to go out with her friends. They have glam nights on Sundays. But she ends up spending time and money on drugs instead of family.”
Olunloyo, who has previously helped celebrities like Whitney Houston manage substance issues, warned: “These drugs are extremely dangerous. They can take over your life, as I’ve seen with other public figures.”
She stressed the importance of hearing both sides of the story, noting, “I’ve been trying to reach Regina all day. Ned has promised to release a statement tomorrow, but it’s crucial we understand both perspectives before jumping to conclusions.”
