Relying only on your God-given talents will leave you broke
In recent times, most of the veteran actors and musicians have come out to plead for public support in one way or the other due to hardships they are facing or probably to cater for their ill-health.
Veteran Ghanaian artiste, Kofi Nti who is famously known for his hit song ‘Rakia’ has advised his fellows in the creative industry to do other jobs in addition to their God-given talents.
“You can’t throw the talent that God has given you away but I will only advice that if you want to be a musician do some work in addition,” he said on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
Kofi Nti revealed on the Kastle Entertainment Show that aside from his musical talents he has a cold store and other jobs that help him to make extra money to eschew poverty in the future.
“Me personally I have my own cold store that I operate and I do also have other top jobs that bring me some money as well,” Kofi Nti disclosed to Amansan Krakye.
He advised, “So I will plead with all my colleagues not to focus all our attention on only our musical talent but let’s do something else in addition”.
