Secular musicians have been called by God to entertain
Fast-rising Ghanaian artiste known in the showbiz circles as Kweku Darlington has said that secular musicians have been called by God to entertain and put smiles in the faces of people.
“I think that doing the work of God is not just about singing gospel music because we secular musicians are also doing what called us to come and do which is to entertain and put smiles in the faces of people,” he told Amansan Krakye.
Speaking in an exclusive one-on-one interview on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, the ‘Sika Aba Fie’ hitmaker, stated that the work of God involves a lot and not just about going to church or singing gospel songs.
“The work of God involves a lot and everyone has got something specific that they’ve been called to come and fulfill because there are people who just share money to those who are in need,” he revealed sighted by MyNewsGh.com
He continued “The person might not be attending any church service but when the month ends, the person can take part of their salary and give it to the poor and needy ones so that’s also God’s work that the person is doing.
“That’s what the Bible said that not all those who mention the name of God will enter the kingdom of heaven so doing the work of God is in the heart and besides the church is about your human body,” he concluded.
