Shatta Wale is a romantic guy – Sammy Flex Defends musician’s soft side
For years, dancehall star Shatta Wale has been known for his bold personality, unfiltered rants, and electrifying stage presence. However, behind the fiery public persona lies a softer, more affectionate side that many fans don’t get to see.
Speaking on Joy Prime monitored by MyNewsGh, Shatta Wale’s manager, Sammy Flex, set the record straight about his boss’s tender nature, insisting that the musician is a deeply loving person.
“Shatta Wale is a very romantic guy. Many people doubt this because what we often see from him in public are his rants or when he’s not happy about something. But trust me, if you are close to him, you will see his soft side,” Sammy Flex stated.
He recalled an incident when they picked up Shatta Wale’s Rolls Royce, where the singer immediately called his special lady, Mary, to join in the celebration.
“That is how Shatta is every day when a woman is around. He is the softest guy ever,” he emphasized.
Despite his tough public image, Shatta Wale’s affection extends beyond his romantic relationships. Sammy Flex shared another moment when Shatta Wale halted his movement at a show in Wasa after a security guard accidentally hit a female fan.
“When Shatta saw it, the way he got mad at the security guy was serious. There were even videos of it. He stopped, called the lady, hugged her, and I’m sure he even followed up with her later,” he recounted.
According to Sammy Flex, people often misunderstand the artist because they only see his brand, not the man behind the brand. He pointed out that Shatta Wale’s recent interactions with his child also reveal his nurturing side.
“Yesterday, I posted a video of him carrying his baby into the car. If you watch how tenderly he was holding the baby, you will see that he is a soft person.”
The manager concluded by emphasizing that Shatta Wale knows how to balance his public persona and private life, choosing carefully what aspects of his relationships to share.
