Mark Kwesi Arthur popularly known as DJ Azonto, has said Shatta Wale lied by revealing that he was paid £80,000 to perform at the Ghana Music Awards UK.

DJ Azonto has added up to the issue which has become a cause of disagreement between Shatta Wale and renowned media personality, Akwasi Aboagye.

Speaking on Property FM in Cape Coast, he said “As for me what I see is that Shatta Wale is telling lies, I mean Shatta Wale is lying by saying that he was paid £80,000.

“There is no way Shatta Wale was paid £80K and he’s lying because what I know is that he was paid about £200K,” DJ Azonto said in an interview with Amansan Krakye monitored by MyNewsGh.com

He continued “That’s why I’m saying that Shatta Wale is lying because he took more than the amount he announced and I’m saying it emphatically.

“But it’s like a secret that I’m revealing to you because if I look at the treatment given to Shatta including his hotel and other gifts.

“Even Alordia bought me ladies’ hill worth £15K and so with the iPhone and others he bought for Shatta I think Alordia paid him like £200K.

“The accommodation alone, the wristwatch he bought for Shatta and he also bought me a gold watch so with all these he paid me £40K so how much more a big brand like Shatta Wale,” DJ concluded.
