She’s truthful and straightforward – Kazim Adeoti reveals why he married Mercy Aigbe
Nigerian movie marketer and CEO of IbakaTV, Kazim Adeoti, has opened up about his relationship with Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe, sharing heartfelt insights into what attracted him to her both professionally and personally.
Speaking during an interview on Oyinmomo TV, Adeoti revealed that he had known Mercy long before they officially met, having admired her work in the film industry.
“Mercy Aigbe is someone that I’ve known for a long time. I knew she was an actress even before we met in person. When I got into the industry, I worked with many people, including her,” he said.
But beyond her fame and talent, what truly caught his attention was her integrity.
“What I love and admire most about her is that she’s truthful and straightforward,” Adeoti noted.
“I was used to people saying the money wasn’t enough. But in her case, she said that some money still remained. I was surprised. She’s a woman who still stays true to herself.”
Describing her as an experienced and influential actress, Adeoti said he values her insight and guidance, though she only steps in when asked.
“She’s an experienced actress, so there’s no way she won’t have influence. She knows what we do. I usually ask for her ideas, and she tells me what she thinks. She has a busy schedule, so she only interferes when I ask.”
