Shishi Na Banku Ba’ song isn’t meant to promote the abuse of marijuana
Ghanaian comedian and musician, Ajeezay legally known as Nathaniel Mensah has revealed that his viral song ‘Shishi Na Banku Ba’ isn’t meant to promote the abuse of drugs.
“Nobody is advocating for people to smoke my Shishi na Banku ba song is actually a song talking about sanitation,” he clarified on the Kastle Drive show.
Talking about his song on Kastle FM in Cape Coast with Amansan Krakye, Ajeezay said that ‘Shishi Na Banku Ba’ is actually a sanitation advocacy song to ensure cleanliness in the country.
He remarked “It’s a song for sanitation I mean cleanliness because I want Ghana as a country to be clean.
“So when you see some rubbish in front of your house or when you see weeds growing up then you weed and burn them all,” he explained.
He added “What it is about really is that you’ve worked to clean your environment so we’ll give you Banku to eat that’s why I said Shishi na banku ba so that the country will be clean”.
