Some women strategically share bills among multiple men
Counselling Psychologist and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Practitioner, Mrs. Perfect Kumah Oduro, has cautioned men to be cautious in relationships, particularly when financial considerations are involved.
Speaking during a discussion on Joy Prime on January 7, 2026, Counsellor Perfect explained, “Money changes people. If you have a lady who’s working, she earns money and accepts being in a relationship with you, maybe, due to your job, she wants to focus on her career so that it can progress.”
He added, “You would understand that the lady is choosing you for who you are. She’s not choosing you because of your money or what you’re bringing on board.”
The psychologist, however, warned that not all relationships are purely based on affection. “If you’re a man, you should be careful about that because some ladies are also using men as their employment avenues,” he said.
Counsellor Perfect further alleged that some women may date multiple men at the same time, strategically distributing financial responsibilities among them.
“Some ladies are dating about three or four men and they’ve shared the bills among the men. One is paying rent, others are doing other stuff,” he explained.
He also noted that financial considerations could even influence marriage decisions. “When you come and bring a marriage proposal, they will start doing a comparison on where she will get comfort,” Counsellor Perfect said, urging men to remain circumspect in their relationships.
