Stonebwoy cleans Ashaiman ahead of ‘Ashaiman to the World Festival’

Ghanaian Afropop, dance hall and reggae musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known Stonebwoy in the entertainment circles has joins hundreds of his fans to clean Ashaiman, ahead of this year Ashaiman to the World Festival.
The event formally known as Ashaiman to the world Concert is making a comeback on September 3 after two years break due to the deadly Oid-19 pandemic.
Videos of the clean up exercise held on Thursday, August 25 within the Ashaiman community have since been making rounds on the various social media platforms.
One sighted by the GhanaPlus.com on Instagram saw the multiple awards winning musician in one of the gutters cleaning to the admiration of hundreds of fans gathered and cheering him on.
Ashaiman to the World Concert
Ashaiman to the World Concert was established some nine years ago by the renowned musician to celebrate and give back to Ashiaman, the community where he grew up and nursed his music career until he hit the lime light.
Arguable one of the most recognition, popular and largest artist-led free music festivals in Africa that celebrates arts, culture and music and with thousands of patrons annually, this year’s event, the 7th edition will be held at ritual venue Saka Saka Park and promises to be one of the best since its establishment.
Speaking on TV3 NewDay on Tuesday, August 23, Stonebwoy said the festival has brought attention to the Ashaiman community located in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana and contributed significantly to changed the negative perception associated with the busy commercial hub.
He said this year’s event will be a festival which will includes sport, health screening and the host of others.
