Task new artistes to write your songs if you seek relevance
Ghanaian Businessman, Nhyiraba Kojo has tasked veteran musicians in the country to step aside for the new generation of artistes if they are not prepared to transform
Speaking to Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM, the ‘Turnaround’ hitmaker said old artistes must task new artistes to write songs for them if they still want to do music.
“If you are an old artiste and you still want to match the new artistes unless you ask them to write the songs for you because their vibes are different,” he remarked.
He continued “When you understand that doing music is seasonal then you need to give way when a new generation of artistes come out onto the music scene.
“When it’s your time to shine you can feel it that it’s your time and so if others also get their time you ought to understand by stepping aside for them to shine,” he added.
He ended “These days I’ve decided not to stress myself to record a song and be chasing promo so I’ll rather invest my money to employ a lot of people”.
Nhyiraba Kojo born Rashid Joseph is the owner of NKCITY, a very big nightclub in Accra and owns a 9 bedroom mansion used by Captain Planet for ‘Abodie’ music video.
