TGMA2025 is today: Here’s what to expect

The day that has been highly anticipated by music lovers in Ghana has come.

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards will today, May 10, 2025, celebrate Ghanaian and international artistes whose work has made an impact in the year under review.

The annual event is expected to take place at the Grand Arena and will draw stakeholders across the entertainment industry.

This year’s anticipation has been top-notch with the hiring of public relations persons by some contenders for the Artiste of the Year award.

This year, King Promise is hoping to win the coveted award after he failed to win last year.

However, he comes up against Stonebwoy, who is the defending champion; King Paluta, who produced several sensations; and others like Joe Mettle, Team Eternity, and Kwaku Smoke.

This year, Regina Van Helvert and Bliss King will host the Red Carpet, which is highly patronized by people who attend the annual event and is something to watch out for.

The red carpet starts at exactly 7pm, and the showcase of elegance is expected on the night.

The main event is expected to be hosted by TV3’s Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku.

Already, the scheme has announced Yaw Darling as the Unsung Artiste for the Year and he will be expected to be the curtain raiser for the main event night
