The car NAM1 gave me had a fridge inside
Reggae musician and on-air personality Blakk Rasta has revealed his car was not taken away from him during the trouble days of Nana Appiah Mensah, widely known as NAM1.
Speaking on Joy Prime, monitored by MyNewsGh, he said the car was a gift from the embattled Menzgold boss.
“That car was given to you by NAM1. He gave me that car,” he stated. “My car even had a fridge inside. It was the first time I drove a car with a fridge.”
He also recounted how some men confronted him over some money issues.
“They came and said, ‘We want our money,’” Blakk Rasta said. “Some of them even crossed the car. So I parked and came down.”
According to him, the situation changed when they realized who he was.
“When they saw it was Blakk Rasta, two of their leaders told the others to calm down,” he said.
He added that he was ready to give up the car if it would solve the problem.
“I told them, ‘If I give you this car and you can pay everyone, take it.’
I even gave them the key,” he said. “But they didn’t take it.”
He said police officers were present and helped calm the situation. Eventually, the group left without taking the vehicle.
