Want quick wealth? Ditch your home training – Gbemi Olateru

Media personality Gbemi Olateru has sparked a conversation on social values and the pursuit of success in Nigeria.

In a post on Twitter, she suggested that losing one’s morals and sense of shame is the fastest way to achieve wealth and fame in the country.

She wrote, “If you want to be rich and famous quickly in this country, you have to lose your home training/shame/morals.”

Gbemi’s statement has resonated with many Nigerians, highlighting the growing perception that ethical values often take a back seat in the race for success.

She further questioned, “Is that the kind you want though?”—a rhetorical challenge that calls for reflection on the kind of success people aspire to.
