We are not best friends, but we communicate

Omotola Jalade has spoken about her ongoing professional relationship with Genevieve Nnaji, stressing that the actresses have worked together on multiple projects without personal conflict.

“About Ije it’s not the first time we’ve worked together.

“We’ve done some, not so many, but we’ve done a few movies before that time, like *Blood Sister,’ ” Omotola said.

Addressing claims of a supposed 20-year feud, the actress said, “There was no quarrel.

“People read things differently, but I’ve never been somebody you can sit to quarrel with.”

She noted that minor industry tensions often get blown out of proportion, particularly when young stars are compared by media and fans.

Omotola also observed that she and Genevieve maintain normal communication behind the scenes.

“People don’t need to be best friends, but we talk, like behind film we talk normally,” she explained, dismissing any notion of lingering bitterness.
