What nonsense – Woli Arole blasts university fellowship leaders demanding first fruit foodstuffs

Nigerian comedian and actor Woli Arole has fired a fiery shot at university fellowship leaders who allegedly manipulate their spiritual roles for material gain.

In a post shared via his Instagram story, Arole expressed outrage over reports that some student leaders, who are being called “Papa” and “Mama” in fellowships, are demanding foodstuffs from their peers in the name of offering “first fruits.”

“I heard they are already calling you ‘Papa and Mama’ in the University bcos you are a fellowship leader and you are also telling students to bring their foodstuffs as FIRST FRUIT. What Nonsense!!!!!!” Arole wrote in all caps, signaling his clear frustration.

The statement appears to address a rising concern in some Nigerian tertiary institutions, where young fellowship leaders allegedly adopt exaggerated spiritual authority and, in some cases, exploit fellow students under religious pretenses.
