King Ayisoba has opened up about what transpired when he was invited by the late former President, Jerry John Rawlings.

According to him, the invitation was necessary because he had said in one of his songs that the late President was a smoker.

Ayisoba, who was speaking to Code Micky in an interview, said, “JJ Rawlings loved me. When I released I want to See You, My Father, I did a video and I said, in one of my songs that Rawlings smokes, Kwame Nkrumah smokes. I intentionally said that so one of my brothers called Thousand Can Die who was a Soldier helped me meet JJ Rawlings.

When I met Rawlings he asked if I was the one who composed, I Want to see you, my father? He said he saw some video of me saying JJ smokes and he laughed throughout our conversation. After that we took pictures and videos,” he said.

King Ayisoba said his success is owed to his authenticity as a musician.
