Why Shatta Wale keeps his love life private – Sammy Flex speaks
Shatta Wale’s manager, Sammy Flex, has shed light on why the dancehall star does not frequently display his romantic and affectionate side in public.
According to Sammy, Shatta Wale is a naturally loving person, but he chooses to keep that aspect of his life private to maintain his brand.
“People think they know everything about Shatta Wale because of what they see online, but they don’t,” Sammy said. “He is one of the most romantic and soft-hearted guys when he is with his woman.
However, he understands that being a public figure means controlling the kind of image you put out there. That’s why he won’t be posting all the lovey-dovey things he does behind the scenes.”
Sammy Flex emphasized that in the entertainment industry, public perception is carefully managed, and certain aspects of an artist’s life are better kept away from social media.
“Every brand has an identity, and Shatta Wale has built a certain perception over the years,” he explained.
“If he starts posting romantic content every day, it will change how people see him. That’s why you only see certain sides of him when the cameras are rolling, but trust me, behind the scenes, he’s very soft.”
The manager also pointed out that in showbiz, people often misinterpret public displays of affection, which is another reason Shatta Wale is selective about what he shares.
“If you post your partner too much, people start forming their own opinions, and if things don’t work out, those same people will drag you. That’s why big brands don’t flood their pages with content every day—it reduces their value. Shatta understands this, and he controls what people see.”
