You are a weak general
Content creator and social commentator VeryDarkMan has issued a sharp rebuke to General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu following the senior officer’s recent comments urging repentance and reintegration for Boko Haram fighters.
General Biu, who made headlines earlier this week, publicly encouraged members of the terrorist group to “lay down their arms, repent and reintegrate into communities.”
His remarks immediately triggered mixed reactions, with critics arguing that security efforts should prioritize accountability and justice rather than reintegration.
Reacting in a strongly worded video, VeryDarkMan accused the general of adopting a lenient stance toward individuals he believes should instead be forcefully confronted.
“Dear General Abdulmalik Bulama Biu, you are a general, not a pastor,” he began, questioning the military officer’s approach to counterterrorism.
He argued that such public appeals only embolden extremist groups. “I can see why these terrorists keep increasing because men like you, who have the power and tools to go after them, are sympathizing with them,” he said.
VeryDarkMan went further to suggest that the general’s comments show weakness in leadership. “You should resign because you are a weak general, unable to use your office. This is a shame,” he stated.
