You are a wicked person – Davido slams fan for bringing baby to Umuahia concert
Nigerian music icon David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, interrupted his performance in Umuahia, Abia State, to confront a fan who brought a baby into the midst of a densely packed concert crowd.
The incident took place on June 27, 2025, during Don Lulu’s launch party, where Davido was the headline act.
Midway through his energetic set, Davido stopped abruptly after spotting a fan holding a small child.
Clearly disturbed, he addressed the individual from the stage, calling out the act as irresponsible and dangerous. “Why would you bring a baby here?
“You are a wicked person,” he declared, drawing attention to the child’s vulnerability in such an overwhelming environment.
Known for his electrifying performances and hit songs like Unavailable, Fall, and FEM, Davido has consistently shown that his influence extends beyond music.
Despite being born into wealth, he has never shied away from speaking up or giving back.
Through his David Adeleke Foundation, he has supported countless people across Nigeria—donating to hospitals, offering scholarships, and footing medical bills for those in need.
Fatherhood, in particular, has deepened his public empathy.
Davido often shares his love for his children and his experiences as a father, making his reaction in Umuahia feel all the more personal.
