You locked me up and took my phones – Regina Daniels accuses Ned Nwoko
Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged partner, Ned Nwoko, of manipulation and abuse, alleging that he used false claims of drug addiction to cover up his own actions.
In a lengthy social media post, Regina claimed that Nwoko intentionally portrayed her as a drug addict to the media in order to shift public attention away from his alleged controlling behavior.
“You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me,” she wrote. “Then, when I’m completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you because I will have nowhere else to go.”
She further accused him of hypocrisy, alleging that he once encouraged her to take drugs because he thought she was “sexier” and “wilder” when high.
Regina also made disturbing claims about being locked up, denied access to her phones, and forced to take medication meant for people with bipolar disorder.
“You lock me up and tell doctors to inject me with drugs,” she wrote. “You seize my phones for weeks just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot.”
The actress said Nwoko’s tactics were aimed at breaking her down emotionally so she would depend solely on him.
“That has always been your strategy, break people down, make them weak and powerless, and then have your way with them,” she stated.
She ended her post with a defiant message; “It’s not going to work this time. Not anymore.”
