You made African Dancehall artistes proud—Samini hails Shatta Wale

Dancehall Artiste, Samini has hailed Shatta Wale for his performance at the Freedom Street Concert in Kingston, Jamaica.

According to him, Shatta Wale represented African Dancehall on that stage, and for that,t he deserves to be celebrated.

Samini who espoused this view via social media said Shatta Wale has made all African Dancehall Artistes proud of the genre they chose to represent indicating that Dancehall is global.

His post read “For the culture and everything relevant to #dancehall and #Jamaica I’d say I’m super proud of SM Boss @shattawalegh on your maiden performance in JA. You stood there in the name of African Dancehall and made every dancehall artist on the continent proud. Big up WORLDBOSS . This performance is Shatta Wale’s first in Jamaica; a feat he has prayed to chalk all his life.

Meanwhile, in Ghana, there are mixed reactions to Shatt Wale’s performance and while his fans are of the view that he did extremely well considering his composure, others are of the view that he could have done better.
