Former Big Brother Naija star and media personality, Natasha Akide, widely known as Tacha, has stirred heated conversations online after urging young women not to commit to just one man while dating.

Speaking on the Outside the Box podcast, Tacha advised women to diversify their romantic options, stressing that relying solely on one man can be risky.

“I tell girls, don’t be out there dating just one man. And I’m still saying it outrightly, you need three other boyfriends in your life,” she declared.

Clarifying her stance, Tacha explained that she wasn’t promoting promiscuity but rather encouraging women to protect their emotions and avoid disappointment.

“I am not saying sleep with all the boyfriends, but at least let it be that there are other people you are talking to, because even that person you’re talking to, they say the heart of man is wicked, so you never really know,” she added.

Her comments have sparked mixed reactions across social media. While some praised her for offering “realistic” advice in a dating culture where loyalty is often questioned, others criticized her for normalizing distrust and promoting multiple relationships.
