You risk losing your license if you broadcast content without permission – NFA to TV stations

The National Film Authority has warned all television stations of the risk of losing their license if they telecast content without seeking clearance from the owners.

This comes after calls on Ghanaian television stations by Nigerians and some Ghanaian content creators on the illegal use of their intellectual property.

To the NFA, these infringements violate content creators and discourage investment and creativity.

The statement from the National Film Authority indicated that investigations are currently ongoing to bring it to a close.
