You’ll fail if you sing for yourself – Daddy Lumba to musicians

Highlife Legend Charles Kwadwo Fosu known as Daddy Lumba has cautioned fellow musicians not to do music for themselves else their career will fade out easily.

According to Daddy Lumba, doing music to suit yourself can never be accepted by most people hence artistes must always have their listeners in mind before recording a song.

Daddy Lumba said this on DL FM in an interview  monitored by MyNewsGh.com while speaking on the success of his new song “Ofon Na 3di As3m fo” released a week ago which has enjoyed massive airplay and received social media acclamation.

“And they (musicians) must listen carefully; if you are a musician who do music for yourself your music can’t be accepted by all.  I think about what everyone is talking about. You must dive into people’s hearts and get to know exactly what they are saying. That is what I give to people”, he stressed.
