Yul Edochie and Judy Austin welcome baby girl amid ongoing marital controversy

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has announced the birth of his third child with partner Judy Austin, drawing a wave of congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
The arrival of their baby girl comes amid ongoing public scrutiny over Yul’s controversial separation from his first wife, May Edochie.
Taking to Instagram, Yul shared a video of Judy Austin as she prepared for the delivery, beaming with anticipation in what appeared to be a behind-the-scenes moment from the hospital.
The couple, who have frequently made headlines over the past year, had previously posted maternity shoot photos that hinted at their joy and readiness to welcome another child.
In a follow-up post, Yul made the official announcement, introducing the newest addition to their family: “We prayed, our fans prayed. And God answered.
Rejoice with us as we welcome our beautiful daughter. Her name is UNIVERSE IFEYINWA STORM YUL-EDOCHIE. Thank You Lord.”
The post was accompanied by a touching video that captured the emotional moment Judy Austin held her newborn daughter for the first time, clearly overwhelmed with joy as the baby was placed gently on her chest.
While the couple celebrates this new chapter, public reactions remain mixed due to the backdrop of Yul’s highly publicized marital breakdown with May Edochie.
His decision to take Judy Austin as a second wife sparked widespread backlash in 2022, especially after he revealed their union without prior notice to his first wife or fans.
The tension further deepened when May publicly stated she was unaware of the relationship and had no intentions of entering into a polygamous marriage.
