2021/22 Ghana Premier League: Eleven Wonders v AshantiGold matchday 1 report
Ashantigold got their campaign off to a great start following a 1-0 victory over Eleven Wonders on Sunday afternoon.
The Miners had a tough task ahead of them as they made the away trip but got the job done despite the odds.
Despite both sides creating chances throughout the first half but no goals came out of that.
In the second half, the away team created more opportunities and were rewarded in the 83rd minute via a strike from Eric Esso.
Ashantigold will hope to build on the victory whilst Eleven Wonders will hope to get back to winning ways in the next matchday.
