2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 10: Berekum Chelsea see off AshGold with a 1-0 win
Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon put up an impressive performance to see off Ashanti Gold SC with a crucial 1-0 win in the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams today locked horns in a matchday 10 encounter of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.
In a game where Ashanti Gold SC were the favourites to secure the win, they failed to live up to expectations with the home team proving too strong for the visitors to handle.
Courtesy of a fine display in the first half, a Stephen Anokye Badu equalizer powered Berekum Chelsea into a deserved lead.
Although Ashanti Gold SC will come in strong in the second half, they failed to score with Chelsea holding on to amass all the three points at the end of the encounter.
Today’s win has helped Berekum Chelsea to climb to 11th on the Ghana Premier League table with Ashgold on 10th on the log.
