2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 17: Bechem United fight to draw 1-1 against Berekum Chelsea
Bechem United almost lost three vital points to Berekum Chelsea on Friday afternoon but managed to show resilience at the end of 90 minutes to earn a 1-1 draw.
The Hunters played as a guest to the Blues today in a matchday 17 encounter of the ongoing 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.
Despite playing well in the early parts of the game, Bechem United lost focus after the half-hour mark with Berekum Chelsea taking advantage to score through Kofi Owusu in the 31st minute.
Fortunately for the visitors, the team managed to put up a strong fight in the second half and restored parity in the 75th minute.
It was all thanks to Emmanuel Annor who scored with a brilliant effort to force the match to end in a stalemate.
Courtesy of the result, Berekum Chelsea are now 9th on the Ghana Premier League table with Bechem United staying in second.
