2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 2: Dreams recover from opening day defeat to thump Sharks 3-1
Dreams FC on Sunday afternoon recorded a massive 3-1 win against Elmina Sharks in the Ghana Premier League.
When the 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign commenced last weekend, the team from Dawu suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of giants Asante Kotoko.
Today, the team travelled to Elmina to face Sharks on matchday 2 of the new league season.
On the back of a very good start to the game, Agyenim Boateng Mensah scored for Dreams FC in the 23rd minute to give the side the lead.
Two minutes later, Kwaku Kakari equalized to double the lead for the visitors before the break.
Although Ebenezer Adu would score to half the deficit for Elmina Sharks in the 77th minute, a strike from teenager Abdul Fatawu Issahaku later on cemented a delighted 3-1 win for Dreams FC at the end of the contest.
