2021/22 Ghana Premier League matchday 5: King Faisal v Medeama SC preview
King Faisal are hoping to bounce back to winning ways this weekend when the team hosts Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
After winning the first three matches of the 2021/2022 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign, the team in Kumasi last weekend suffered a 1-0 defeat to Berekum Chelsea in a game they were tipped to win.
Subsequently, the team returned to training and has trained very hard since Monday with the hopes of turning things around this weekend.
The opponent, Medeama SC started the new Ghana Premier League season in a bad fashion.
However, after sacking their head coach and bringing in a new tactician head, the Yellow and Mauve outfit last weekend defeated Karela United after a tough contest to secure a first win of the campaign.
While both teams are looking for a run of wins, King Faisal and Medeama SC now have to face each other.
The matchday 5 clash in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, November 28, 2021.
Player to watch:
Osman Ibrahim – The on-loan Asante Kotoko striker has been a talisman for King Faisal since the new season commenced.
His direct hand in the goals scored by the team has been key and he will have a big role to play for King Faisal this weekend.
Predicted scoreline:
Karela United 1-2 Medeama SC.
